We are an ambitious village bowls club with good facilities for playing the flat green game; Heckington and District Bowls Club aims to encourage anyone wanting to play the game. There is an opportunity for all levels of play from the competitive to the purely social. Details can be obtained from the Contact page.

 We have a strong Bowls Development Scheme that is aimed at three main sections: the novice bowler, the Improvers and the more experienced members who feel the need for a "brush-up". Each new member, novice or experienced, is assigned a Personal Mentor for as long as they are needed. The Mentor will introduce "newbies" to the Club Officials and show where the equipment is kept etc.

We are affiliated to both the EBA and EBF.

Set in a truly village environment, the green is regarded as the major asset of the Club. The secluded area is quiet, yet has the benefit of being overlooked by several houses to enhance security.

 There are good facilities and equipment is available for those just wishing to try their hand before "getting the bug".
